Radical Black Girl is an art-activist platform built with community in mind to amplify art that pushes boundaries, challenges systems of oppression and makes space for collective healing. Radical Black Girl crafts accessible, creative and liberating experiences while uplifting artists of color. RBG advocates for more creative spaces for people of color to convene, pushes for opportunity and accessibility for artists of color, and centers action when working with communities for social change. Radical Black Girl provides high quality, socially aware performance, programming and content that provides a platform for young artists and creates paid opportunities.

Looking For:
Production Assistant:
Looking for an organized, detail oriented person with creative vision and great communication skills to assist in performance and film production. This position may include corresponding with artists, being the point person on set or backstage, shadowing conversations with lighting & sound, set and costumes. Paid per production.
Media Specialist (video & audio)
Captures & edits creative video and audio content for Radical Black Girl productions and collaborations. Hourly rate 15/hr
Chief of Information
Researcher, compiles and summarizes information for briefings to be used for social media, newsletters, projects, etc. Hourly rate 15/hr
Social Media & Press
Oversees social media roll out, engages with audience & corresponds with press. Graphic designing skills is a plus. Hourly rate 15/hr
Community & Advocacy Team
Workshop Leaders, Space Holders & Community Reps
To be trained by founder Des Polk to lead RBG workshops, host/ hold space for RBG events and to be present and report back at community related meetings on behalf of Radical Black Girl. Workshop opportunities are always paid. Hosting and space holding opportunities may vary in pay.
